About Cameron
My Story
I’m a new mom, solopreneur, yogini, wife, teacher and coach.
My journey into health and wellness began in the late 90′s when, as a college student, I first struggled with debilitating anxiety and insomnia as a result of stress. Doctors prescribed antidepressants and sleeping pills but I knew this wasn’t the answer. My desire to regain balance led me to studying the mind-body connection, nutrition and yoga. I spent my 20′s dabbling in the healing arts and found that the more I learned, the more I knew this was my true calling.
Over time and through personal experience, I discovered that “health” is more than just eating right and exercise. Aligning my career with my passions, having fulfilling relationships, establishing a spiritual foundation, indulging in regular self-care and connecting to a strong support structure have been paramount to maintaining my own balance and fulfillment.
It wasn’t until nearly 10 years later that I made the bold decision to leave my established career in microfinance and enroll in the Professional Training Program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. During this time I learned how to integrate my experiences with holistic nutrition to create my own health and wellness practice.
I founded SoulFull Wellness in 2010 as a way to share my unique gifts and experiences with women seeking to regain a sense of balance in their lives. Whether struggling with lack of energy, anxiety, burn-out, major life-changes, or weight loss, my mission is to help busy women create greater balance, health and fulfillment in a way that is natural, fun and guilt-free. Feeling in complete alignment with my life’s purpose, I have helped women all over the country become healthier, happier and more fulfilled.
Based in Washington DC, I live with my husband Chris, our daughter Isabel Claire, and our two cats Lila and Lotus.
